Choosing the Right Shirt Fit for Your Body

Shirt fit is the difference between “this looks good on me” and “this looks like a hand-me-down.” Here’s how to choose with confidence.

Know your silhouette

Broader shoulders usually love a classic crew with a straight hem. Narrower frames often look sharper in a slightly tapered tee that still leaves room through the chest. If you prefer volume, size up once — not twice — so the print stays centered.

Check three points

Shoulder seams should land at the edge of your shoulder. Sleeves should end mid-bicep. The hem should clear the belt line without swimming past it. If any of those fail, try another size before blaming the design.

Fabric matters

Heavyweight cotton holds graphics better and drapes with more structure. Lightweight blanks cling and fade the artwork. Lost Morals shirts are printed on fabric that keeps ink bold and the silhouette honest.

When in doubt

Measure a favorite tee you already own and match those numbers. Fit is personal, but a good shirt should feel like armor you forget you’re wearing — until someone notices the print.
